News Home Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Saturday night the BAA is holding a fundraiser at the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council. Sherry Patterson is the President of BAA. "We are celebrating Black History Month here in our community. We're calling this celebration 'rise'. We have an evening of soul food and musical entertainment. The first step is going to be gospel, that's been our culture's foundation, so we're going to do that first," she said. "Then we're going to just share some information about our culture.
