News Home Photo courtesy of CBJ Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The City & Borough of Juneau is recruiting nine community members for a new Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC). The PRAC is appointed by the CBJ Assembly and advises the Assembly and the Parks & Recreation Department on all aspects of recreation in our community, including parks, trails, aquatics, Treadwell Arena, the Jensen-Olson Arboretum, Youth Services, recreational sports, and more. The Committee reviews fee schedules, construction projects, master plans, and regulations that affect public use of parks and recreation facilities.
