News Home Ketchikan Fire Department Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) - The Ketchikan Fire Department was notified of a structure fire at the American Legion Post #3, located at 631 Park Avenue, at 1:21 a.m. on Sept. 10. The fire was contained at approximately 6:30 a.m. The cause is unknown and under investigation. Park Avenue is closed to both vehicles and pedestrians from Bawden Street to Woodland Avenue and will remain closed while the investigation is active, which is expected to take until late Monday.
