News Home More from News of the North Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - On Sept. 15, an Anchorage grand jury indicted Franklin Dias for allegedly shooting at pedestrians and vehicles on the Glenn Highway on Sept. 6. Dias is being indicted on the alleged charges of attempted murder, assault in the first degree, several counts of assault in the third degree, and misconduct involving weapons in the third degree Dias is currently in the custody of the Department of Corrections. His bail is set at $200,000. He faces up to 99 years imprisonment for the attempted murder charge, up to 20 years imprisonment for the first-degree assault charge, and up to five years of imprisonment for each of the third-degree assault charges and weapons misconduct charge.
