News Home Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The CBJ Community Development Department will host a Flood Permitting Open House on Thursday. Aug. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Mendenhall Valley Public Library Large Meeting Room. Property owners impacted by the Aug. 5 Mendenhall River flood event are invited to drop in at their convenience to meet with permit specialists from CBJ, Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Alaska Department of Natural Resources, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and ask questions about permitting issues related to the flooding.
