News Home Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The City and Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation Department is opening winter shelter reservations Monday, June 26 at 8 a.m. Winter shelter reservations are available September 16 – March 31 and cost $25 per hour plus tax. Reserve a winter shelter online starting Monday. Winter shelter reservations can also be made in person at the Parks & Recreation main office in City Hall, although registering online offers a greater chance of securing your desired date and time.
