News Home Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Eaglecrest Ski Area is applying for a City Project Review and a Conditional Use Permit (concurrently) to develop a number of amenities, including a gondola and Summit House lodge. Hearings for both applications were originally scheduled for the Regular Planning Commission Meeting on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 7 p.m. in the Assembly Chambers. These hearings have been POSTPONED and will be rescheduled at a later date to be determined. Locations confirmed for the first seven of 25 cabins to be built on Alaska's National Forests Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - There will soon be more cabins to choose from for those who live and work in Alaska, and for those who are visiting or planning to visit one day.
