News Home Juneau Douglas Bridge, photo credit to Charles Murphy Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Saturday night, around 7:00 pm, JPD received a report of a person who jumped over the Juneau Douglas bridge into the water. It was reported that there were two people on the bridge and one person jumped off. The USCG responded to the area to conduct a search. A helicopter was later used to assist with the search. A witness in the area told JPD that they heard someone on the bridge yelling at another person in the water.
